DPP Event Strands
We hold a variety of different events each year – from small and exclusive to large and open. An explanation of our main strands follows below, with information about who to contact to get involved.
A Drink With...
Your opportunity to have a drink with an industry leader, A Drink With... is the DPP at its most relaxed. Each event features a conversation with a top class guest speaker, followed by an informal drinks reception during which you can socialise with other DPP members. These events are held on a quarterly basis, usually at a member company’s premises.

DPP At Home
DPP At Home is a series of unique, invitation only events in which customers and suppliers work together to focus on a selected topic. DPP At Home takes place in a relaxed, informal setting, where we facilitate a three hour workshop to produce an outcome that is turned into a Home Truths report. 20-30 attendees from the DPP membership are specially selected to attend each event based on their knowledge and experience of the subject area.

DPP Exclusive is a summit for 50 senior leaders from the membership of the DPP, taking place each year at IBC in Amsterdam and NAB in Las Vegas. Specially invited attendees from across the media supply chain address key questions for media organisations at these executive events, designed to enable high quality discussion between speakers and attendees.
DPP Executive Dinners
DPP Executive Dinners are invitation only events bringing together senior leaders to discuss the industry’s most pressing topics. We create valuable, bespoke engagements based on our knowledge and expertise, and provide some of the highest value networking in the industry.

DPP Explore is a series of events designed for the technical and operational community. At these events we unpack DPP specifications, recommendations and other subjects relevant to current DPP Technical Projects. They provide the latest information and an opportunity to network with peers. The type and frequency of meetup is driven by the objectives of these projects, progress of implementation, and the desired outcomes.

The DPP Next Gen Production Network is designed to help video creation companies to build more effective business operations. Supplier members will also be invited to share their knowledge and expertise with these producers, in a non-sales environment. The Network defines the topics it wants to explore, and the type and frequency of meetup it needs to generate the most useful outputs.

DPP Tech Leaders’ Briefing
The DPP Tech Leaders’ Briefing is our flagship event. It has grown quickly to become known as the pre-eminent business intelligence event for the media industry. It is an annual two-day conference and networking event held in November, that brings together the supplier and content provider community, to hear from senior executives of major media organisations as they share their strategic priorities. No other industry event provides so much focused insight in one place.
