Programme Manager

An exciting opportunity to join the DPP team

About the DPP

The DPP is the media industry’s business network. It’s a membership organisation comprising 450+ companies across the media industry - from production and post-production, to broadcasters and content platforms, plus technology and services companies.

We work with big name content providers like BBC, Disney, Channel 4, Sky, ViacomCBS, VICE, and WarnerMedia, as well as tech giants like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Avid, and Adobe. Our small but dedicated staff co-ordinate and amplify the expertise of these great companies to generate insight, enable change, and create market opportunity.

We have a small and dedicated staff in London, who coordinate and amplify the expertise of our membership to generate insight, enable change and build market opportunity.

Our work falls into three main areas:

  • Events ranging from small online workshops to major in-person conferences in the UK, USA, and Europe.
  • Insight generated from original research and interactions with our member community, published as reports, articles, videos, and podcasts.
  • Technology collaboration, defining best practices, specifications and guidance that enable interoperability across the media supply chain.

We’re a company that cares a great deal about our values. We drive the industry forward on issues like sustainability and diversity. We are an equal opportunity employer, and we do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, or disability.

As a small team, we’re collaborative and open, with a high degree of autonomy, and flexible working practices. We're based in London, and ask our team to join us in the office two days a week (though more is allowed).

We are offering a rare opportunity for an ambitious programme manager to join our growing team to drive delivery of our outputs.

    • work with all other members of the DPP team in the course of delivering projects
    • manage delivery of external contractors such as our visual designer
    • be the key point of contact for sponsors of our work, providing them clear updates, managing their input, setting their expectations, and ensuring they receive maximum value from the DPP
    • get to know a huge range of individuals from DPP member companies, coordinating their contributions to our work and building relationships with them
  • In addition, you will own - and seek to improve - many of the DPP’s processes for project management and delivery:
    • along with the CTO, you’ll ensure we’re using the best tools to enable our work
