In 2020, exclusive DPP research explored the use of cloud in media companies. We investigated why organisations are moving workflows to the cloud, how they can form a strategy to deliver that migration, and the technical approaches to achieving the promised benefits.
Coming up this year
In 2021 we will dive deeper into 4 specific areas of the workflow:
- AI-driven Automation
- Post Production
- Linear Playout
- Streaming at Scale
We’ll illustrate the state of the art with case studies from companies who’ve been there and done it. They’ll share their successes, and their battle scars.
Through these workshops, case studies, reports, and webcasts, the DPP will explore the reality of media in the cloud today, and shed light on the challenges that remain.
