The Cloud For Media offers an unprecedented industry-wide view of the opportunities and challenges of building media workflows in the cloud.
In 2020, exclusive DPP research explored the use of cloud in media companies. We investigated why organisations are moving workflows to the cloud, how they can form a strategy to deliver that migration, and the technical approaches to achieving the promised benefits.
In 2021 we looked deeper into four specific areas of the media supply chain, to explore the reality of media in the cloud today, and shed light on the challenges that remain. We also illustrated the state of the art with case studies from companies who’ve been there and done it, who shared their successes and their battle scars.
And in 2022 we explored how software and data integration enable new flexibility for media companies, in a related series, Making Integration Work.
