The DPP is pleased to announce the publication of version 2.0 of the AS-11 X6 commercial, sponsorship, and informercial delivery documents. These documents continue to evolve the DPP’s pioneering work to improve end-to-end digital working for broadcasters.
The publication is comprised of two documents:
- DPP012 - Commercial, Sponsorship, & Infomercial Delivery - Guidance for Production and Post Production, which defines best practices to help ensure that commercials, sponsorships, and informercials are accepted by broadcasters
- DPP013 - Commercial, Sponsorship, & Infomercial Delivery Using AS11 X6 - Technical Requirements, which defines the technical parameters for delivery to the AS11 X6 specifications.
This major revision is the result of collaboration between the DPP and key stakeholders at the UK broadcasters.
Following the DPP’s transition to a fully independent organisation in 2022, these new documents take the form of a reference which may be implemented by any broadcaster, commercial agency, producer, brand, or aggregator.
