DPP European Broadcaster Summit

This special, invitation only, Summit, with a distinctive workshop format, is designed to promote collaboration between European broadcasters, and to share and discuss key messages with their supplier community.

The Broadcaster Day creates an opportunity for senior broadcaster executives to share knowledge around six key topics. They are then joined for an Industry Day by senior colleagues from the supplier community. Together they will engage in high value conversations, facilitated by the DPP, that promote understanding and engagement.

The Summit will take place in person in Berlin, Germany.

*Please note that this is a one ticket per supplier member event.*

COVID-19 Guidelines

We’re looking forward to welcoming invited members to our first DPP European Broadcaster Summit taking place in person at the Maritim proArte Hotel in Berlin, Germany.

At all our in person events, we take COVID-19 and the safety of our attendees very seriously.

For this event, we will be strictly adhering to German government guidelines. Please see below:

Travelling to Germany

When entering Germany, you must have COVID-19 certification - a negative test result, proof of full vaccination, or proof of recovery.

Negative test result - As a rule, COVID-19 test results (antigen or PCR tests) must not be more than 48 hours old at the time of planned entry.

Proof of full vaccination - Vaccination certificates are available from vaccination centres, pharmacies, medical practices and health authorities. You must have received the last vaccination dose at least 14 days before the date of travel.

Proof of recovery - A positive PCR test result carried out at least 28 days but no more than 90 days previously.

If you’re travelling from a high-risk area, you must complete pre-departure digital registration, regardless of vaccination status.

You can find more information here.

German regulations

Currently, both the vaccinated and unvaccinated must still practice social distancing and wear masks in enclosed spaces.

Wearing a medical-grade mask is a legal requirement in retail outlets and on public transport. You must also have COVID-19 certification to enter hotels.

COVID-19 safety at the venue

The Maritim proArte Hotel Berlin will also be adhering to the German government guidelines. Please ensure you have one of the following to enter the hotel:

  • Negative test result
  • Proof of full vaccination
  • Proof of recovery

If you need to take a test, you can book a slot to do so via this link.

You will also be required to wear a FFP2 face mask in all public areas of the hotel, which we will provide on your arrival.

All Maritim Hotels have developed extensive hygiene and safety measures when it comes to protecting against COVID-19. Measures include:

  • Increasing cleaning cycles in public areas and guest areas of hotels using detergents, disinfectants and disposable wipes
  • Training of employees regarding hygiene measures
  • Enlargement of all distances in event areas

You can find more information here.

The DPP cannot be held liable if an attendee contracts COVID-19 after the event. While the Summit is being run in accordance with the current German government requirements, the risk of transmitting COVID-19 cannot be entirely mitigated. We are reliant on all attendees to adhere to this guidance while attending the event.

Should you have any specific questions regarding this or any other aspect of the event, please do not hesitate to contact events@thedpp.com
