This informal evening event will discuss the challenges and opportunities that IMF and component based media create for Media Asset Management.
The event will begin with some enlightening case studies from organisations who are trailblazing in this space. A facilitated discussion will then explore the current market state and what development might be required to meet the needs of content producers and distributors.
From here, a virtual hackathon will be launched, implementing new solutions and functionality around the recently published IMF Media Management API. The hackathon will last approximately 4 weeks and will conclude with an online plenary where the results will be presented.
